La Isla del Júcar is an spanish traditional rural house, located in Valencia (Spain), that was built in the early twentieth century, and served both to house its residents and to shelter animals and keep the tools of work typical of rural areas. Their stays were the ones for the way of life of the time, corrals, steps of carriages, changers to keep the food of the cattle, the llar to cook and to heat the house along with the dormitories conformed the house by then.
Little remains of that primary housing since all its dependencies have been renovated to the detail with sweetie and charm, adapting them to current needs and conditioning them so that the accommodation for up to 8 people becomes an experience of comfort and pleasure.
In the design of its rehabilitation the tradition has been respected and it tried to conserve the architectonic style of the time, conserving elements like gates, high ceilings with wooden beams, thick walls of stone, as well as the alhacenas and the llar reconverted in fireplace.
Likewise, materials such as terracotta, Valencian ceramics and selected woods have been used. All this mixed with cotton, linen, blue, ocher and brown colors properly combined and next to the furniture, carefully chosen in each room, make La Isla del Júcar a mixture of refinement and rustic air with vintage reminiscences that invites relaxation and enjoy time
